Why today spells trouble for couples: FLiP quoted in The Times

We are delighted that both Jo Harrison and David Allison have been quoted extensively in today’s The Times (04/09/23) on why today spells trouble for couples.

Jo is a Divorce Consultant and Individual & Relationship Therapist at FLiP who works as part of our in-house team to support clients who are separating. She comments that September can be a time of losses that can stir up feelings in the couple which, if not addressed, can become bigger issues.

David Allison, a Director at FLiP, draws a parallel with the January “D” (or Divorce) Day when family lawyers often experience a rush of new divorce enquiries. His reasoning for the pick up in enquiries about divorce is that the start of the new year or, in September, the start of the new school year, is a time to address the challenges that may have been put off as life returns to normal.

The article has also appeared in The Daily Mail.

Jo and David are highly experienced in supporting clients through divorce and separation. If you would like to speak to them to discuss your family law issues, please contact us:
