Top Recommended Family Lawyers for HNW clients says Spear’s 500 2022
We are delighted to announce that three of our senior lawyers – consultant Pamela Collis and directors Elizabeth Hicks and Bradley Williams – have been named as top recommended family lawyers by The Spear’s 500 2022. These rankings confirm Family Law in Partnership’s position as a leading adviser to HNW and UHNW clients. As Spear’s itself says, the guide is “the indispensable guide to the top private client advisers, wealth managers, lawyers and service providers for HNW individuals – undoubtedly the leader in its field“.
We are thrilled to have made The Spear’s rankings once again.
Director Elizabeth Hicks specialises in all areas of family law with a particular focus in advising HNW and UHNW clients on complex cross jurisdictional issues of family, matrimonial and trusts law. Her work includes divorce, contested financial remedy cases, children cases and preparing Pre and Post Marital Agreements. Elizabeth’s cases frequently have an international dimension and many of her clients have substantial assets. Legal 500 UK 2021 commented of Elizabeth: “Liz Hicks is a standout practitioner. She is the whole package, technically good, has warmth in abundance and is completely committed to her clients”.
Director Bradley Williams has a reputation as a highly skilled negotiator and litigator, with finely tuned judgment and wide ranging technical expertise. He is adept at evaluating cases at an early stage helping clients to make informed choices to achieve effective long term solutions. Bradley’s cases regularly involve factors such as international jurisdiction issues and conflicts, trusts and inherited wealth.
Consultant Pamela Collis is a very senior and highly regarded family lawyer who has specialised in family law for over 35 years. Pamela is known for her pragmatic and constructive style and her strategic vision. Spear’s notes that Pamela is well known for “intricate finance cases” with her practice involving an eclectic mix of HNW and international cases often with unusual legal and factual situations.
