Timely workshop on Grey Divorce

Ruth Smallacombe and Marion Korn present workshop on Grey Divorce

The latest statistics show that divorce among couples in their 50s, 60s and beyond continues to rise. The phrase “grey divorce” has been coined to describe separations among this growing population. Complex financial, emotional and legal challenges often occur when unravelling these long term marriages.

Ruth Smallacombe of Family Law in Partnership and Marion Korn of Mutual Solutions today present a workshop examining the challenges present in grey divorce. The workshop will look at capacity issues, adult children and their concerns for the financial wellbeing of their repartnering parents, three generation families blending combined with care and support of parents and their new elderly partners.

The workshop will be followed this evening by the launch of Marion’s new book on grey divorce “When Harry Left Sally: Finding Your Way Through Grey Divorce” which is receiving considerable media attention.
