Welfare benefits on divorce or separation are a complex area. So we were delighted to host David Stickland of the Benefits Training Company last week who gave an overview of the world of welfare benefits to an invited audience.

David explained the complexities of a range of welfare benefits including tax credits, universal credits and disability allowance in particular with a focus on what is available, how it is assessed and what needs to be done to access the benefits on offer.
