We are delighted to be shortlisted for Family Team of the Year in the forthcoming Solicitors Journal Awards 2016. This is the first year of The Solicitors Journal Awards which recognise brilliance in a changing legal world.
The winner of the Family Team award will be announced at an ceremony to be held in London on 25th May. The winner will have satisfied at least one of the following criteria in the past 12 months:
- Made a significant impact on the development of family law through acting in a reported case; or
- Innovated legal services to meet the demands of a modern day legal practice, for example in relation to mediation services or litigants in person; or
- Demonstrated exceptional teamwork and collaboration with either external firms, local government authorities, or barristers; or
- Consistently exhibited outstanding expertise and dedication to clients.
Our recent initiatives such as the maintenance indexation calculator, our series of family focused thought leadership talks, our satellite websites (on prenups and maintenance variations) and in particular our divorce diaries website, have all contributed to Family Law in Partnership being shortlisted for this prestigious award.
