Dominic Raeside, Head of Mediation at Family Law in Partnership, recently attended an advanced training course on mediating cross-border and international family disputes including international child abduction, access and custody cases. The course examined the relevant legal aspects of international family conflicts, differences in national family legislation, the Hague Conventions, Brussels II Regulation as well as the best interests, and the voice, of the child.
