FLiP Welcomes Selena Arbe-Barnes to the Team

We are delighted to welcome Selena Arbe-Barnes to the FLiP team. Selena joins FLiP as an associate.

Selena was named as a Rising Star for family/matrimonial work by Legal 500 UK 2021 which commented “Selena Arbe-Barnes is a rising star – she brings a great deal of maturity and intelligence to her cases and is superb with clients. Selena advises on a wide range of issues associated with the breakdown of marriage and relationships, including complex children and financial matters. In her work, Selena is particularly known for her careful attention to detail and her client care skills.

Selena’s children cases often involve multi layered child arrangement issues and include cases in which the most serious allegations have been made against parents. Selena is committed to resolving matters in a proactive and sensitive manner to achieve a solution that is both sensible and fair. When this is not possible, Selena will take a robust approach when court proceedings become unavoidable.

Selena is a fluent French and Spanish speaker. She uses her language skills to assist clients going through court proceedings abroad by working closely with local lawyers and liaising with third parties.

Selena is a member of the Franco-British Lawyers Society and the British Spanish Law Association. She is also a member of Resolution.
