Nicole Phillips

Nicole is a family solicitor as well as an FMC Accredited family mediator. She is a strong proponent of what mediation can offer clients, namely a holistic, constructive and cost-effective means of resolving practical matters flowing from divorce or separation.

Nicole combines legal expertise with a deep understanding of the emotional impact of separation. She supports clients to make informed decisions and craft future-focused solutions, whether in respect of co-parenting arrangements or financial matters.

Nicole is available to conduct mediations either online or in person, for both children and financial issues.

Nicole is ranked in the Mediator’s Spotlight Table in the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth 2025 Guide and UK 2026. Nicole has a successful mediation practice guiding clients to solutions both in respect of financial matters as well as issues around communication and children that arise after separation or divorce. Some representative matters include:

• mediated for a divorcing couple who wished to reach a financial solution following their divorce. Nicole helped guide them to a mutually acceptable financial outcome. Reaching a solution with mediation allowed the clients to resolve their financial claims quickly and cost efficiently.

• mediated for an ex-couple one of whom wished to relocate abroad with their son. Nicole, as the mediator, helped the clients reach an overall agreement in respect of this issue, which allowed them to put their son first and avoid lengthy and costly court proceedings.

• mediated for a divorcing couple which involved complex financial affairs to include valuable trust assets. Nicole guided the clients to an overall financial agreement notwithstanding the financial complexities that were present in the case.
