Pensions on Divorce – report by the Pensions Advisory Group

Pensions are often the single largest asset after the family home for divorcing couples, yet there has been an inconsistency of approach to pensions in divorce cases across England and Wales and a considerable shortfall in understanding.

Following the Pension Advisory Group’s long awaited report, ‘A Guide to the Treatment of Pensions on Divorce’, The University of Manchester and Mills & Reeve are holding a seminar bringing together leading protagonists and thinkers in this debate, including five Pension Advisory Group members.  The seminar will consider different disciplinary, social and industry perspectives on this incredibly thorny issue.
