The next talk in our Thought Leadership series will be on the impact of decision-making (both personal and business related) on others. The talk will take place at 7pm on Wednesday 20th September at The Union, Greek Street, London. We have two fantastic speakers lined up to debate this fascinating topic, Maggie Semple OBE and Avi Shmueli CPsychol, DCLIN.
Maggie Semple OBE. Maggie is a successful business-woman and entrepreneur. She has worked with many public and private sector organisations at a senior level on leadership development, cultural change and organisational development. Maggie has established a successful profile spanning broadcasting, print and digital media. In 2010 Maggie set-up Semple, a bespoke women’s fashion brand. Maggie serves on a range of Boards including the City & Guilds Institute and the Southbank Arts Centre. She is a Non-Executive Director of the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) where she chairs the Audit and Risk Committee. Maggie is a Fellow of the City & Guilds Institute, one of 500 Fellowships awarded since 1878, and is cited in the World’s Who’s Who. She was awarded an OBE in 2000.
Avi Shmueli CPsychol, DCLIN. Avi is a clinical psychologist, couple psychotherapist and psychoanalyst. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Psychoanalysis Unit at University College, London. Avi is a member of the British Psychoanalytical Society and The Institute of Psychoanalysis. He is also a member of Tavistock Relationships and sees clients at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships. Avi works with adults and couples.
