Senior Associate Nicole Phillips – Accredited Family Mediator

We are delighted to announce that FLiP Senior Associate and Mediator, Nicole Phillips, has achieved accreditation by the Family Mediation Council as a family mediator.

Nicole comments: “I am delighted to have been awarded full accreditation status as a family mediator by the Family Mediation Council. I am a strong proponent of what mediation can offer clients, namely a humane, swift and cost-effective means of resolving family disputes by reducing conflict. In my mediation practice my goal is to provide a space in which clients can creatively explore the issues they bring to mediation in order to help them reach a consensus that works for them and their children.”

To become an accredited family mediator, a family mediator has to provide a detailed portfolio of their work and undergo a strict assessment process whilst demonstrating an extremely high level of competency. During Nicole’s time in working towards accreditation, she was supervised by FLiP’s Head of Mediation, Dominic Raeside, one of the most experienced family mediators in the country.

Having been named as a Rising Star in the family/matrimonial law world for many years by The Legal 500 UK, Nicole was named as a Leading Family Mediator in the 2024 edition with the editorial noting: “Nicole is thoughtful, knowledgeable and focused on getting a fair outcome for families in mediation.”

Nicole is available to conduct mediations either online or in person, for both children and financial issues. She offers both sole and co-mediation.
