Legal Business: Private Client Yearbook 2024: James Pirrie Featured

We’re delighted to see FLiP’s James Pirrie quoted extensively in Legal Business’s Private Client Yearbook 2024 in a piece examining the changes that family law needs to take into account to keep pace of the makeup of modern day families.

In “Breaking down silos: family law in the UK in 2024 and beyond” (5th March 2024), James Pirrie suggests that legal protections for those in cohabiting relationships may come in like a bolt out of the blue in the same way that the legislation for same sex marriage was introduced. He also talks about the importance of breaking down the silos between professional advisers supporting separating couples by introducing multi-disciplinary teams who can address the needs of couples in the round rather than separately.
