Last week saw Family Law in Partnership receive numerous plaudits from the legal community.

In shortlisting Director James Pirrie for the industry award “The Law Society Gazette Legal Personality of the Year” in The Law Society Excellence Awards 2014 James was referred to as “a trailblazer in family law…recognised for his leadership in alternative dispute resolution.”

Earlier in the week James attended the Family Law Awards 2014 along with associate Elizabeth Fletcher. Both had been shortlisted for awards, James for the Outstanding Contribution to Family Law award and Elizabeth for the Associate of the Year award. Like The Law Society Excellence Awards, The Family Law Awards recognise both excellence in the provision of legal services and the outstanding achievements of the legal profession.

Meanwhile the Family Law in Partnership mediation practice was shortlisted in The Legal 500 UK Awards 2014 in the category Private Client – Family: Mediation. This follows on from our market leading mediation practice, led by Dominic Raeside, being the only firm to be ranked top tier in The Legal 500’s inaugural Private Client – Family: Mediation category.
