Director James Pirrie spoke at the ICAEW annual conference yesterday.

Addressing the Forensic and Expert Witness Group Annual Conference in London James spoke on accountancy evidence and assistance in family law cases. James explored how, despite the often negative perceptions, accountants make an essential contribution to the family court process. Professionals such as accountants help clients to build understanding about their resources and settle their differences.

The involvement of neutral third party accountants is common in a collaborative process and is now building support in mediation cases, opening the door to cases of greater complexity being managed through family mediation.
