James Pirrie of Family Law in Partnership speaks to The Breakfast Show

James speaks to Penny Smith and Paul Ross about the new child maintenance rules

James Pirrie was a guest of The Breakfast Show’s Penny Smith and Paul Ross on 21st May when he spoke about the recent changes to the child maintenance arrangements.

James spoke about the new payment obligations introduced by the child maintenance reforms. A paying parent now has an obligation to pay an additional 20% on top of the amount that they must pay pursuant to a maintenance assessment with the receiving parent having 4% deducted from the monies they receive. In each case the monies are put towards the overall costs of running the new Child Maintenance Scheme.
