FLiP Shortlisted for Financial Remedies Firm of the Year 2025

FLiP Shortlisted for Financial Remedies Firm of the Year 2025

Family Law in Partnership (FLiP) has been shortlisted for the Financial Remedies Firm of the Year at the Class Legal Financial Remedies Awards 2025. This recognition celebrates our impact on the development of remedies law, procedure, and best practice.

For over 30 years, FLiP has led innovation in family law. We were the first firm to integrate mediators into financial dispute resolution, developed hybrid mediation involving financial advisors, and brought collaborative practice to the UK. Our One Firm model allows joint advice while maintaining individual client support, improving outcomes across the family justice system.

Over the past year, we’ve been involved in notable cases such as Y v Z [2024] EWFC 4, achieving what is believed to be the largest Schedule 1 award outside a matrimonial context, and WZ v HZ [2024] WFC 407(B), providing guidance on managing spouses holding out in the family home despite court orders.

Beyond casework, we champion thought leadership and extra-curial initiatives. This year we launched the NCDR Toolkit with FLANC to support neurodivergent clients.

At FLiP, our culture is built on partnership, integrity, and empowerment. We support junior practitioners with mentoring, reflective practice sessions, and business development coaching, while fostering inclusion through mental health first aiders, hybrid working, and flexible social events.

This shortlist acknowledges the dedication of our team in shaping family law and ensuring fair, transparent, and effective outcomes for clients.

We would like to thank Class Legal for this recognition and look forward to celebrating excellence across the profession at the awards ceremony on 16th October.
