FLiP Associates and Financial Remedies Journal

FLiP Associates and the Financial Remedies Journal

We are so proud of our two associates, Ellie Rogers and Rachel Wilson, who have joined the team preparing case summaries for the Financial Remedies Journal.

Ellie’s first summary, on the case of AH v BH [2024] EWFC 125, can be found here. This was a high-net-worth financial remedy case in which the parties had entered into a Pre-Nuptial Agreement which purported to ‘severely limit W’s financial remedy claims in her own right and the financial needs of W and the children’. As the recent case of ND v KD [2024] EWFC 188 illustrates, Pre-Nuptial Agreements which are “extreme” in nature may not be enforced in their entirety particularly if they fail to provide for the needs of the financially weaker party. Read our blog on the ND v KD case here.
