On the first anniversary of gay marriage, Gay Family Lawyers is launched. Gay Family Lawyers is a new service for gay couples and families providing tailored advice on the myriad of family law issues from highly regarded family specialists.
Ruth Smallacombe, a founding member of Gay Family Lawyers, who practices as a therapist and mediator commented: “Gay Family Lawyers brings together specialist family lawyers and mediators who offer insight, understanding and empathy into the issues that gay couples and families face. We hope that the LGB community will find Gay Family Lawyers a valuable means of accessing bespoke advice of the highest quality from experienced family practitioners.”
Gay Family Lawyers has been founded by leading family specialists David Allison and Ruth Smallacombe of Family Law in Partnership, Haema Sundram of Covent Garden Family Law, James Carroll of Russell-Cooke and Rachel Woodd of Jones Nickold.
Founding member Rachel Woodd said “As members and allies of the LGB community ourselves as well as being practising family lawyers and mediators, we offer a real appreciation of the issues and concerns that many gay couples and families come across.
