James Pirrie is one of the signatories to a letter “Relationship breakdown: family stability is vital for a thriving society” which appeared in The Telegraph today. The letter calls for the Government to treble relationship support funding to £22 million to provide much‑needed investment for interventions that make a difference. Such an investment would boost children’s life chances and send a signal that strong relationships are vital for a thriving society.

Other signatories to the letter include the Chief Executives of Relate, Resolution and the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships, the founder and chairman of the Marriage Foundation and the director of One Plus One.
