Director James Pirrie has become a member of FamilyArbitrator.
FamilyArbitrator aims to promote informed understanding of family arbitration principles and to encourage the use of family arbitration as a form of private dispute resolution in finance-related family cases.
Set up by Sir Peter Singer, Gavin Smith and Rhys Taylor, FamilyArbitrator also now counts Andrzej Bojarski, Felicity Shedden and James Pirrie as members. All are experienced family law specialists, qualified family arbitrators and members of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
James was among the first arbitrators trained in the family arbitration scheme and has used arbitration in two of his cases (including the case reported as S v S [2014] EWHC 7 (Fam)) and as at June 2015 he has been appointed in three more.
At Family Law in Partnership two of our six directors, Bradley Williams and James Pirrie, are qualified family arbitrators. More information on arbitration at Family Law in Partnership can be found here.
