David speaks at the ABA Section of International Law conference in New York, April 2014

Partner David Allison addressed the ABA Section of International Law conference in New York in April.

David moderated the session “Global Employment: The Impact of Marital/Partner Status on HR and Employees” which looked at the different approaches to marital/partner status taken across the globe including marriage, domestic partnership and relationship intolerance and their impact on employers, employees and HR professionals.

Other speakers were drawn from businesses and law firms in the US, Middle East and Europe, with David being the only representative from the UK.

David is vice chair of both the International Family Law Committee and the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Network of the American Bar Association.
