Our Team →

FLiP’s success is all about our people. We have built an exceptional team committed to the ethos and values of FLiP which guide what we do and how we do it. When recruiting we look for those people who have the knowledge and ability to meet our demanding standards. Successful candidates must also demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, our ethos and values.

We provide regular training and development opportunities to ensure our team is kept at the forefront of family law. We also work with individual team members to develop their personal brand and skills, offering the opportunity to gain additional qualifications as, for example, arbitrators, collaborative lawyers and mediators, where appropriate.

Work Experience →

FLiP runs an “Access to Practice” work experience scheme for one week, twice a year. This is open to current university students and graduates only and applications will not be considered on a rolling basis.

Two places are available for each week. The dates for 2024 are as follows:

  • Applications close on 31 March 2024.
  • Interviews will take place in May 2024.
  • The first week will take place from 12 August to 16 August 2024.
  • The second week will take place from 19 August to 23 August 2024.

To apply for a place on the scheme, please email with a copy of your CV and your answers to the following 3 questions:

  1. Why are you interested in family law? (200 words)
  2. Why are you interested in Family Law in Partnership Ltd? (200 words)
  3. What have you seen in the family law press recently which has sparked your interest and why? (200 words).

Please also let us know your preferred scheme dates. It is not necessary to prepare a cover letter.

Please be aware that FLiP is not able to offer Training Contracts. The purpose of the work experience is to give individuals an insight into how family law operates in practice.
