Our People

Rachel Peirse

Rachel

Rachel is an Assistant Solicitor with Family Law In Partnership and advises on all aspects of divorce, ancillary relief, children and cohabitation matters often with an international aspect.

Rachel understands that each client has unique needs and objectives when coping with matrimonial, children and cohabitee difficulties. Her goal is to offer her clients constructive advice and creative solutions to help them towards a positive resolution.

“I listen to clients to get a sense of what the issues are and then help them to work out what they want to achieve.  My approach is to find the most appropriate process for each individual so he or she can reach the best possible outcome for their family.”

Rachel makes every effort to settle out of court, however if this is not possible, she is a confident litigator.

Rachel completed an Arts undergraduate degree at Edinburgh University and then studied at the College of Law in London, qualifying as a solicitor into a niche international family firm at the end of 2003.   She joined us in April 2007.

Rachel acted for the successful husband in the leading reported pensions case “Martin-Dye v Martin-Dye” ([2006] EWCA Civ 681).

Rachel is an active member of Resolution.
